Layered Lucidity is a product trend I identified & developed that refers to multiple methods of expression through translucency. Translucency is much more than just being able to see through a material but to show and celebrate what we don’t usually get to see or are not used to seeing. We are really starting to demand translucency as to how products are produced, not only because it is fascinating but we are realizing how necessary a sustainable process is. In a polarizing social atmosphere, we also need translucency from the brands we buy from to see where they stand on these topics. Within fashion, the embracing of different skin tones & imperfections while still wearing a garment or accessory can be incredibly liberating as well as offer a sense of protection.
